Avantasia
Es una agrupación de power metal con influencia de ópera, formado en el 2000 en Fulda, Alemania; por el vocalista y líder de la banda de heavy metal/power metal Edguy, Tobias Sammet. El nombre de este proyecto es una mezcla de dos palabras: Ávalon y Fantasía y «describe un mundo más allá de la imaginación humana».
